At El Bisabuelo Eladio, we continue to contribute to creating a better world not only through our storage solutions, but also through our social responsibility. This year, we have earmarked our annual donations to these projects.
Supporting flood victims in Castilla La Mancha and Valencia
Caritas was one of the beneficiary organisations this year. We have contributed to support their work in the DANA that has affected Castilla-La Mancha and Valencia, regions where the floods have left hundreds of people and businesses in a critical situation. This support aims to alleviate the immediate needs of those whose lives have been affected by this natural disaster.
Contribution to Educo
In line with our corporate mission to ‘help to feed the world’, we have collaborated with Educo and its Lunchroom Scholarship programme, an initiative that guarantees access to food for children in vulnerable situations throughout Spain. In addition, this NGO has an international scope that connects with educational and food security projects in countries such as Guatemala and El Salvador.
Collaboration with local associations
At El Bisabuelo Eladio we deeply value the work of local associations. This year, we wanted to make their projects visible through Christmas gifts for our employees:
– Mugs decorated by Autism Association La Mancha Quijotea, a non-profit organisation formed by families of people with autism in the area of Alcázar de San Juan.
– Christmas plants from ASPANA, Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, whose tireless work improves the quality of life of many families.
We would like to express our sincere thanks and admiration to Cáritas, Educo, La Mancha Quijotea and ASPANA for the positive impact of their work in our society. We invite everyone to get to know their projects and to join their solidarity initiatives.
