Farms
The almond tree plantation is distributed across three farms with a total extension of 317 ha and 84,965 trees, with an expected annual production of 508 tons/year. In Quinta Monteguerra there are 67,845 almond trees planted on 234 ha. La Sultana has 6,120 trees in 30 ha and in Finca Loma Pajarera also has 53 he, with 11,000 trees planted.
Varieties
We have 7 communal almond varieties: guara, tuono, constantí, soleta, vairo, lauranne, and marinada. These varieties are the best ones adapted to our soil and climate. El Bisabuelo Eladio almonds come from quality crops that keep all the nutritional benefits of this fruit.
Location
The farms are located at a height of 650m, with continental climate and large temperature oscillation, thermal contrast that favours the growth of almonds.
Processing plant
A few kilometres away from Quinta Monteguerra is the new almond storage and drying plant, with a one million kg storage capacity. Storing almonds in silos ensures perfect conservation. An investment of €1.8M reiterates the commitment to the quality and future of the project.
