Loma Pajarera Farm. Own harvest
Farms
The pistachio plantation is concentrated in Loma Pajarera Farm, one of the largest pistachio production farms in Spain. Loma Pajarera houses 192 ha, 60 ha with 25 years in production and 87 ha of new plantation and 45 has of organic pistachio, with a total annual harvest of 270 tons/year raw - 120 tons of dried pistachio.
Varieties
The cultivated pistachio variety is Kerman, with a large and round fruit and with a high pistachio/peel yield, a variety totally adapted to our climate and soil, and of recognised quality among consumers.
Location
Loma Pajarera is located in the Ruidera area, near Villahermosa town. Located at 970 m above sea level. Its continental climate, with a great oscillation of temperatures, causes a thermal contrast that favours the late ripening of the fruit. Hot summers and very cold winters benefit the flowering and growth of the fruit.
Processing plant
The processing plant is located in the same farm, which ensures the natural organoleptic potential of our pistachios. The quality of El Bisabuelo Eladio pistachios originates from these over 25-year-old trees, located in La Mancha, pistachio land.
