As for the pistachios, the peeling and drying processes are carried out immediately at Loma Parajera, minimizing the risk of fungal growth and preserving the fruit’s organoleptic properties to the fullest. In the coming weeks, the pistachios will be sorted by size, ensuring that each one meets our quality standards.
After the 2024 harvest, both almond and pistachio trees enter their winter hibernation phase. During this time, our agricultural team prepares a specific foliar treatment to heal the small wounds caused by the harvesting process. We use healing agents in combination with essential microelements like boron and zinc, which strengthen the pistachio trees and optimize their productive capacity. This meticulous care not only contributes to the recovery of the trees but also enhances their production cycle, guaranteeing an even more abundant and higher-quality harvest for 2025.
